alert should be possible even when indicator in separate panel

I can add alert to Indicators when in main panel window e.g. moving average, but when indicator is in separate panel e.g. DMI i cannot add alerts i.e. i right click on DI line and see option to 'add alert on DI+' but when i attempt to click it the drop down menu closes each time. Very frustrating. can we have this feature returned pls, i used to be able to do this so clearly a bug
